Building the most valuable organisation

How Exalia could become the most valuable organisation on Earth - and what would this mean for the future of humanity?

Every once in a while, there comes an organisation that changes everything.

One, without which the world we live in would be completely different, and fundamentally shapes the future of humanity.

An organisation such as Apple, SpaceX, Tesla, Google, Cisco, OpenAI. Which, despite being doubted by most, had the visionary excellence and relentless execution to move humankind forward.

Today, we have an opportunity to build the next such organisation. Exalia can become the world's most valuable organisation by building the most fundamental layer of society - the digital infrastructure on which we operate, accelerating our path to a united, global, effective human society.

We see Exalia as the most important mission we will ever achieve as humanity in ensuring our long-term prosperity, and our most important mission today.

In fact, we believe Exalia is our only path forward. When we first outlined Exalia in 2021, we feared that the world was unstable, and that wars could come as a result. At that time, nobody believed this to be true, as the world hasn't seen major wars since WW2. However, since then we have seen the Ukraine-Russia war in 2022 and the Israel-Palestine war in 2023. And today we fear that this is just the beginning. By 2040, there will be 1 billion migrants due to climate change, there will be water scarcity in some regions. All of this will lead to unprecedented global tensions, and we are currently not ready.

We thought "What would it look like for a society to be millions of years more advanced than us?", and realised that fundamentally, for any society to thrive in the long-term, it eventually needs to be united. A society that lives in division, fights, and has advanced nuclear weapons, cannot survive long into the future, and self-destruction is only a matter of time. So the only path is unity. And that the sooner it is achieved, the better.

While there are many problems and many intricacies to how Exalia will be a force for unity locally and globally, the most significant and impactful one is creating the digital infrastructure for society. We see this as the most obvious, necessary tool to enable the function of society. We find it helpful to think from first principles, often referring to how an advanced human society would look like, or imagining building society all over again on a different planet.

Let's imagine settling on Mars. Knowing everything we know now, and having all the tools and resources at our disposal, one of the first things we would create is a digital tool that allows that society to communicate, align on tasks and priorities, access resources - essentially having a digital platform on which to function. Of course, if that society consists of 10-20 people, this can all happen with direct communication, but as it surpasses hundreds, thousands, millions, and in the case of Earth - billions of people, it needs a better channel to communicate and come together.

In fact, this is also natural. Throughout our human history, as small tribes, we used to gather around the fireplace. As we grew bigger, we built villages and cities that had a central square (this is visible in almost every city in Europe), enabling the tribe/community to come together, which is vital to shape a shared identity, discuss problems, align, and act as one. Eventually, as cities grew larger, Ancient Greece utilized the "townsquare", and engaging citizens in discussion was a natural part of the culture. In fact, most people lived in small communities similar to this, with a townsquare, until about 150 years ago, which is when the second industrial revolution started, leading to significant industrialisation and shift from small villages to larger cities, where jobs were centralised. Engaging all these people became impossible, and we started losing our communities, sense of belonging, ability to align, and coordinate efforts. In fact, until the Internet started becoming commonplace 20 years ago, there was no meaningful way for millions of people to engage simultaneously. Today, we have the opportunity, for the first time, to enable us to work together at scale.

At the moment, we lack such infrastructure. While we do function as a society, we are extremely inefficient, unaligned, divided, and disorganised compared to what could be. We have 197 separate countries that each build an entire education system from scratch, healthcare system from scratch, we have countries built in ways that are incentivized to pursue their own benefit, even at the expense of the world. Over 90% of children grow up in developing countries and/or have poor access to education, meaning their potential is never developed. This means for every Einstein in the world, another 9 don't even get to dream because of the situation they are in. Instead of recognizing we are all humans and are vastly more similar than different, we divide and fail to see our shared humanity.

Of course, the goal of Exalia is not to replace countries, but to empower them, and to empower all of us, to come together on a shared space where we can all start to work together - as countries, as organisations, and most importantly - as individuals. A shared space on which we can come together, align, and become humanity.

Many people ask how Exalia is different to a platform like Facebook, and whether Facebook isn't already the infrastructure for society we outline above. The truth is, we believe Facebook is the opposite of what an infrastructure for society should look like. And in fact, we believe that Facebook has been one of the most destructive, most harmful platforms for society, being more similar to a spreading cancer cell that makes society divided and destroying individuals' mental health, rather than a force for good and a force for unity.

Exalia is an organisation fundamentally built for the benefit of people, and the benefit of society. It is the first organisation distributed to every person on Earth. It doesn't display advertisement, and is funded by donations and revenue from transactions on the platform. This allows us to focus on providing value, such as helping people find in-person activities near them, build meaningful relationships, and nurture communities, encouraging them to spend more time outdoors, rather than attempting to keep them addicted and on the platform to consume advertisement. Secondly, Exalia is oriented towards engagement with the world around you and the communities you are part of irrespective of your friend circle. The friends you have on Exalia are almost irrelevant to your experience, unlike Facebook, which is designed as a platform to stay up to date with friends. This means you can join communities such as your neighbourhood, university, company, country, faith, interests you have, and more. Fundamentally, this means our platform powers community and societal engagement for the first time.

Over time, Exalia will encompass a broad range of infrastructure that is key to societal functioning, including activities and planning, bookings, collaboration and communication, connecting and engaging with others, running a business (e.g. offering goods and services). This facilitates a holistic infrastructure where people can engage with one another in society meaningfully, truly serving as a de-facto digital townsquare that enables the multifaceted and complex nature of communities and society.

As Exalia surpasses 200M users (estimated before 2032), we will use our platform, existing infrastructure, and global reach to start tackling global problems. We believe such a platform will allow us to tackle these problems globally and meaningfully for the first time. For example, our first effort will be to create "Exalia Grow", the first global lifelong learning and growth system to support individuals, replacing traditional education. To achieve that, we will bring the world's best experts in specific domains, filmmakers, game creators, storytellers, writers, and AI to create mind-blowing, unprecedented quality of personalised education, accessible to anyone, anywhere. The fact that our platform has critical mass of hundreds of millions of people, alongside proving that Exalia is fundamentally designed for the benefit of society, will lead mass adoption of the education system, making it a new standard overnight, which would otherwise be impossible to achieve. We believe this will be one of the most monumental efforts, enabling every child, anywhere, to develop their full potential.

Beyond Exalia Grow, we will also tackle other problems, creating a global infrastructure for healthcare and overall health management (Exalia Health), an effective global food infrastructure that makes high quality, cooked food accessible to everyone (Exalia Food), and building the cities and infrastructure of the future based on the core concepts of community and balance with nature (Exalia Living). Some of those goals, such as Exalia Grow, can be achieved by 2042, and for others, we could largely achieve by 2060. What is important to note is not only that we will drastically disrupt all those areas, significantly improving the lives of billions of people around the world, but also that we will free up governments from tackling those problems inefficiently (costing tens of trillions globally to taxpayers that could go towards more meaningful pursuits). Ultimately, we believe that building these infrastructures efficiently and with high quality globally will free up people from having to work jobs, allowing them to focus on pursuing their passion and developing their potential, a key step towards personal freedom and a thriving society.

To get there, we start by enabling the communities of the future. Exalia is defining and establishing the platform where every group of people can come together, engage, work better together, and become a true community. Enabling any group of people, from a local interest group, to a company, or a country. While initially funded with donations, Exalia will also generate revenue by offering our platform to businesses and governments, making it completely free to individuals. Specifically, we will enable engagement through posts and activities, making it easy for any individual to be up to date with their communities, the city in which they live, and the country in which they live, find relevant activities near them, create posts or activities, and discover people who share their interests.

Ultimately, we are building the future infrastructure on which any society comes together and functions. If we were to start a human society on a different planet tomorrow, we believe Exalia would be the most powerful tool to enable that society to work together, align, and function effectively. And it will have the same effect on Earth.

We believe this will be the most transformative journey on which we go together. Going from division, to unity, and recognizing the collective potential we have together to shape a better future for those who'll come after us, and make them proud.

We are excited for everything that lies ahead, for being the first organisation that belongs to society, setting a new standard for organisations, and we can't wait for you to join us and build the future together.
