The context

Humanity is facing unprecedented global problems and lacks an effective medium to come together, unite, coordinate efforts, and engage effectively to solve them.

Social Networks:
a Drug Tool

Tools like the lightbulb, bicycles or Google Maps "sit there quietly", until you need to use them.

Drugs, unlike tools, "try to addict you and make you use them more". Social media founders have chosen to create such drugs, taking advantage of people for profit. Things get worse with the rise of the metaverse, and people are now desperate for a healthy alternative.

Loneliness has doubled to affect 40% of people since 1990, with depression also doubling, affecting ~300M.

We have disbanded our tribes, live alone, addicted to our phones, and less present in the real world.

Activities represent all the things we do each day. We imagine a world where a person can find everything happening around them, meet relevant people, plan their time better, do more of what they love, and engage with their communities effectively. This is why we launched the first complete activities infrastructure, and are expanding it to hundreds of thousands by 2024.

Townsquare infrastructure for society

Townsquare represents how we communicate. Leveraging the best of posts, forums, messaging and AI, we are creating a highly effective medium for people to communicate on societal, group, or individual level - creating a world in which people connect meaningfully, generate more ideas, and get more done.

Places infrastructure for society

Places represent where we carry out activities. We plan to create the first complete infrastructure for places. In such a world, anyone can find the availability of all places, get suggestions, make a single-tap booking, all while creating an activity, and engage with places in a highly interactive way throughout their activity.
